How Much Does A Soft Tub Cost

Zuflucht tracing the route

Day 126: Voltage

We reached the city, but did not let us enter. It is a city of refugees by the war between vampires and wizards covert cold. And we took two vampires in the group. At least they had the decency to let us buy food, yes, at a distance. We requested a list, we leave on the door, then we had to go away, left a guard and took the list and closed the door again. Then we hope to come back out to leave the provisions on the ground, and as we approached to pick them up we had to put money into a basket that magically ascended to the wall, where everything was found that. And nothing else loaded the supplies, we left the hell out of there not being any of the guards aimed their crossbows we had bad pulse and shoot us.

At the end of the day we met a hiker who was precisely in that city, Zuflucht (which according to Robert means shelter in German). Distrustful of us, but we managed to pry information. The city was founded to escape the covert war, but found that both groups attempting to infiltrate there too, so I declared a state of siege and only can enter their own citizens and those authorized. Those who leave are being interrogated on their return to see if they have allied with one faction.

The situation must be worse than we imagined if a city has to be in continuing state of emergency. From now on, we will avoid as far as possible and enter the large populations in small only for what we can not achieve on our own (ie, ropes, rare ingredients for Careas spells, weapons, supplies metal clothing and footwear). Which means we'll have fish and gather fruits more often, which will go even slower.

I have begun to pique curiosity about what might make the magicians were separated into two factions. I do not buy it if only for the vampires had to be something else. When I asked to Careas, she only say I always look for things that are not there. Come to think I'm a little paranoid. But one thing is clear: a single difference of opinion on a particular topic is not sufficient for a large organization split into two factions. If Careas not want to answer my questions, I will find those who do (have no idea Robert, but when I mentioned said, now that you mention it, yeah that's a little weird).
