How To Help A Puffy Face

Day 124: Route

We are approaching the glow of a city that is not on our map. We have no choice but to go through it, but Robert and I have discussed the need to stay overnight there. Finally we decided that yes, we will stay, because if we have to choose between an attack in the middle of a city with his guards and people around to thwart an attack or an attack in the middle of nowhere, it's almost better to attack us at the city ... We attack vampires or wizards. In any case, we need to stock up.

Robert and I (the others are limited to travel and enjoy the fight when they have to, although not yet well thought out Desma and I saw Desdre fight) also have been discussing the different routes that we take up Esalrtes. The route through Cazcaos is out, of course. That will lead us to make a detour of several hundred kilometers to avoid a fight that we will probably achieve anyway. But what is clear is that not going to help anything closer to that city.

We can do the rodeo from two sides, but Robert insists that we do on the inside (where there are bandits and fewer cities) and not by the coast (where most cities but pirates instead of bandits). Their main reason is that he has little Careas and for teaching me about the runes (the Magi are wizards, druids not well that can not and should look into this matter beyond the basic master runes) and that its route would pass through one of the most popular woods by the Druids. I like the idea, but I can not help fearing that the druids do not like vampires too. The runes do not affect them too much and its very existence is the result of a perversion of pure magic (words of Alex). Apparently, the Druids are very picky with pure magic ... you need to be runes work.

Now that I realize, half of the phrases that mention the Druids do not include myself among them grammatically. I guess because I'm not a druid, and not just because I have not met even None. It is because, as I know about them, I can not help thinking that are kind of closed group of intellectuals divided by items with great knowledge of nature and affinity with it, and able to use the runes because of that affinity.

addition, as I move forward with the runes, I think I can not get into any category of items. In principle Careas told me that my item was land, but I've noticed that depending on my mood, I have more or less affinity with all elements. When I'm in a bad mood I'm better at the fire. When I feel happy, is air. When I'm relaxed (which has happened few times) is water. And when I'm in my usual state (tense but strong emotions) is land. The worst is when I'm abstracted (when I get my pot gone, thankfully not often) because I do not get anything right, although I have a feeling that I missing some other runes that would work when I'm in that state. Is it normal? That's why I decided to accept the path of Robert yet. And if druids can not stand the vampires, renegaré of them forever.
